Thin, crisp, ginger cookies stenciled with a dusting of powdered sugar.

Ingredients
1/3CMolasses
1/4CVegetable Shortening
2Tbl Brown SugarVegan
1-1/4CAll-Purpose Flour
1/4tspBaking Soda
1/2tspSalt
1/4tspGround Cinnamon
1/4tspGround Ginger
Dash of Ground Cloves
Dash of Nutmeg
Dash of Allspice
Instructions
Beat together the molasses, shortening and sugar. In another bowl. stir together the flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Beat half of the flour mixture into the molasses mixture. Work the remaining flour mixture in with your hands until well blended. Cover with plastic wrap and chill.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Roll out dough very thin, about 1/8". Cut into desired shapes and place on a silpat or parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 5-6 minutes, until lightly browned. Using cookie or cupcake stencils, dust lightly with powdered sugar.
