I was recently contacted by a company called Cocozia to review their new product, Cocozia 100% Organic Coconut Water…with CHOCOLATE. (P.S. I am a certified choc-o-holic :o) You don’t have to ask me twice! I had previously done a review of their original coconut water, which you can view here. so I was happy to indulge in some chocolate yumminess!
Cocozia Chocolate Coconut Water
I was sent a sample case, shipping was through Amazon and arrives in two days for Amazon Prime Members. It was packaged really well in a case of twelve large 16.9 fl oz containers. So, here’s a little bit about the product itself. The ingredients include:
- Organic Coconut Water
- Water
- Organic Coconut Milk
- Organic Cane Sugar
- Organic Cocoa Powder
- Organic Guar Gum (a natural thickener/emulsifier made from a plant in the pea family)
- Salt
Some of the things I really love about this product are that it contains a natural abundance of potassium and magnesium, as well as other electrolytes.
It is also Dairy-Free, Kosher, USDA Organic Certified, Non-GMO, Gluten Free AND Vegan.
So how does it taste, you ask? I must admit, I am not a huge lover of coconut per se, BUT I was so incredibly surprised by the taste of this product, I was instantly sold! I may be dating myself here, but it reminds me of that drink YooHoo (which I used to absolutely LOVE when I was a child).
It has just the pefect balance of cocoa and sweetness. As I was making my smoothie with it, I found myself drinking the remainder of the container…so I guess it’s safe to say I really liked it 🙂

This recipe only used one of my bottles of Cocozia Chocolate Coconut Water, so I am already dreaming up recipes to make even more using it. Since it’s so cold out, a hot chocolate bevergage might be next!
