These Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits are so incredibly simple to make with just a few ingredients. Bisquick baking mix is vegan but if you can’t find it, there are many baking mix recipes on the Internet. You can make this vegetarian or veganize it. I’ll give you options in the recipe card below.
Ingredients needed to make this recipe
Just three ingredients make up the biscuits. They include:
- Biquick baking mix (or homemade alternative)
- Milk or Non-Dairy alternative
- Cheddar Cheese or Vegan Alternative
The topping requires:
- Melted Butter, Margarine or Vegan Margarine
- Chopped Parsley
- Garlic Powder, to taste
How to make Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits
Combine the Bisquick, milk and cheddar just until incorporated. Take care not to over mix or they will be tough.
It will form a slightly sticky dough like this.
Using a cookie scoop, form into balls onto a lined baking sheet. I got four large biscuits, but you can make 8 smaller biscuits or double the recipe.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
While the biscuits are baking, melt the butter and add parsley and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Using a pastry brush, liberally coat each biscuit with the butter mixture. Serve immediately.

Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 c Bisquick Baking Mix
- 1/3 c Milk (traditional or non-dairy)
- 1/4 c Shredded Cheddar or Vegan Alternative
Topping
- 1 tbsp Butter or Vegan Margarine melted
- 1 tbsp Parsley chopped
- Garlic Powder to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line a sheet pan with either a silicone liner or parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, add the Bisquick baking mix, milk and cheddar. Stir just until combined but do not over mix.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, create four biscuits. Feel free to double the recipe or make smaller biscuits.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Melt butter in a small bowl and add parsley and garlic powder, to taste. Stir to combine and brush over the tops of the baked biscuits. Serve immediately.
