This Mango & Turmeric Smoothie is so simple to make and hits the spot! I’m using Truvia Natural Sweetener packets which are my favorite. I carry these wherever I go!
Truvia Natural Sweetener is a natural, zero-calorie sweetener derived from the leaves of the stevia plant. It’s naturally sweet flavor helps users create recipes that are lower in sugar while adding zero calories. One packet provides the same sweetness as two teaspoons of sugar and if you are unsure how much to use, Truvia offers this awesome chart!
I found the Truvia Natural Sweetener Packets at my local Safeway store but your local grocery store is the perfect place to shop for Truvia Natural Sweetener and all of your smoothie ingredients. From now until 4/30, you can save $1.50 on any one package of Truvia Natural Sweetener click here!
This recipe comes together really quickly, so gather your ingredients. The only real preparation required is to freeze your banana slices the night before you want to make this smoothie.
I slice the mango on either side of the large center pit and create cross hatch cuts like this before scooping out the flesh.
Add the remaining ingredients to the blender…
This includes your Truvia Natural Sweetener Packets. I used two, but feel free to adjust to your personal tastes.
You may have noticed a small pinch of ground black pepper in the smoothie. You won’t taste it, but black pepper contains a compound called piperine, which inhibits the metabolic breakdown of turmeric compounds in the gut and the liver. This allows higher levels of turmeric compounds to remain in the body (i.e., increases bioavailability), which may increase the positive effects of turmeric.
You will love this silky smooth and sweet Mango & Turmeric Smoothie!

Tumeric is really great, and I try to incorporate it into my smoothies often, too- though I’m not a mango fan. Do you have a suggestion to substitute the mango? #client
Hi Jenna, I think peaches would be a really nice substitute! 🙂
What is the nutritional content?
Hi Micheke, while I am working on adding nutritional information on my recipes, I currently do not have it available for this recipe. There are online calculators where you can copy and paste the ingredients if you are interested in obtaining the nutritional content.
I would you need a sweetener? It’s sweet enough with the mango and banana.
That is certainly up to your personal taste 🙂
Can you use frozen mango instead of fresh?
Absolutely! I actually think it might work better for a thicker smoothie 🙂
I take about 6-8 turmeric capsules a day, 500 MG per capsule for pain. Wondering how much is in one drink. Turmeric is also great with cinnamon.
There’s only about 1/4 tsp, though you could certainly add more. I’ve never had turmeric with cinnamon. That sounds interesting. I’ll have to give this a try!
A nice smoothie but you don’t need it sweetened. This article is mostly an add for truvia sweetener. Disappointing that you are pushing sweeteners in an otherwise healthy recipe.
It’s clearly a disclosed sponsored post for Truvia sweetener, sooo? I personally prefer it with a sweetener and agreed to work with Truvia because I use the product, but no one is forcing you to. Just enjoy the smoothie without, that’s an easy enough fix right? Certainly your prerogative. Make the recipe your own.
