Turmeric offers many natural medicinal properties and some studies have found that it may help prevent digestive issues and possibly even diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I just love using it in a smoothie. This Vegan Turmeric Mango Smoothie is so sweet and delicious, I think you’ll really love it!
The ingredients are simple. Mangoes, a cup of either vegan yogurt, vegan sour cream or my favorite, vegan vanilla ice cream, a splash of orange juice, banana, ground turmeric, pure vanilla extract and if desired, agave nectar or maple syrup to sweeten. Add ice cubes and blend until smooth.

Vegan Turmeric Mango Smoothie
- 1 c Mango
- 1/2 c Vegan Yogurt, Vegan Sour Cream or Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream
- 2 tbsp Orange Juice
- 1/4 medium Banana
- 1 tbsp Ground Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Agave or Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 c Ice Cubes
- Mint for garnish
- Process all of the ingredients except ice in a blender.
- Add ice and blend until completely smooth.
- Serves 2.
