This Easy Baked Cauliflower Parmesan Recipe is quick to make and so delicious. It’s such a great main dish with a slice of garlic bread. I’ve made this vegetarian, but you can definitely veganize it by choosing vegan cheeses. Something for everyone 🙂 Let me show you how to make it.
Ingredients needed to make this recipe
To make this recipe you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 large head of Cauliflower
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
- Italian Seasoning Blend
- Marinara Sauce (I just used a store bought jar)
- Traditional or VEGAN shredded Mozzarella
- Traditional or VEGAN grated Parmesan
- Parsley, for garnish
How to make Easy Baked Cauliflower Parmesan Recipe
You’ll need one large head of cauliflower and how many you get really depends on what is going on inside. For instance, mine yielded two because there were a lot of stalks.
I slice directly down the center and cut one thick steak from each half. Depending on the cauliflower, you could easily get four steaks cut from it.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning blend. Bake until tender.
I flip about halfway through and then again about 10 minutes before it’s fork tender. Be careful here, the steaks are fragile.
I used traditional marinara and again, feel free to buy vegan cheese alternatives if that’s what is best for your particular diet.
Don’t forget to chop some parsley for garnish.
Spoon the marinara over top and be generous!
Top with your cheeses and the chopped parsley. Now, place it under the broiler until melted and golden.
The end result is nothing short of delicious. I really hope you give this one a try.
