This Mixed Berries and Banana Smoothie couldn’t be any simpler! Just pick your favorite frozen berries, add a ripe banana, ice cubes and any non-dairy milk.
What berries can I use for this recipe?
I had raspberries and blackberries in the freezer, but you could use any berry such as strawberries, blueberries, etc.
I did not add a sweetener as my banana was really ripe and sweet, but you could certainly opt to do so in your smoothie.
Blend until smooth and if it’s too thick, just add more almond milk and process again. A high speed mixer, such as a Vitamix or Blendtec, makes quick work of this but any blender will do so long as it can easily process ice. I often use a Magic Bullet when making smoothies just for myself.
I like mine really thick and those ice chunks you see rapidly melt and keep your smoothie cold.
I like to add a few more berries and enjoy them as I go ๐
